Dickies can manage 40 % more orders at their own machines thanks to visual scheduling

Dickies Europe, a subsidiary of the world's largest workwear manufacturer, faced a challenge in manually scheduling orders for their embroidery department. This process, managed by a single employee, led to uncertainty over delivery dates, an inability to scale with increasing orders, and unnecessary outsourcing of work. They partnered with NETRONIC to implement a visual planning solution to gain transparency and improve efficiency.

NETRONIC implemented the Visual Embroidering Scheduler, a custom application developed with VARCHART XGantt. This live, interactive planning board provided a clear overview of all machine capacity and orders, incorporating complex requirements like machine-specific capabilities and delivery date priorities. As a result, Dickies achieved a 40% increase in orders processed on their own machines, significantly reducing their need for expensive outsourcing thanks to the improved planning from NETRONIC.
