Netrix Robotizes KOIN's Migration to AWS

KOIN, a pioneering fintech company in Latin America offering "Buy Now, Pay Later" solutions, faced a significant infrastructure challenge after its acquisition by Despegar. Its systems were split between two separate private clouds, making them difficult to manage, iterate upon, and keep compliant with regulations like PCI DSS. Seeking to unify and modernize its operations, KOIN engaged Netrix Global to help migrate its workloads to a new, agile, and scalable environment on AWS.

Netrix implemented its Robotize Control Tower product to automate and standardize AWS account creation and management using infrastructure-as-code. This solution enabled a true collaborative partnership, allowing the teams to build a new cloud infrastructure from scratch in just three to four months. The results were substantial; KOIN now expects to complete its migration of 600 instances in 13-14 months, a process that typically takes years. This acceleration allows KOIN's development team to focus on building the business rather than technical administration, with 300 applications already migrated in the first year.
