Buenos Aires City Government Improves Citizen Services with Data Transformation

The City of Buenos Aires government faced a challenge in standardizing and consolidating vast amounts of disparate inspection data from its various agencies. This lack of a common data language hindered its goal of enabling evidence-based public policy and simplifying bureaucratic processes for its citizens. The city engaged Netrix Global to develop a critical API as part of its data transformation initiative.

Netrix developed the required API, working collaboratively with the city's internal teams using Scrum methodologies. The solution, which utilized AWS services including API Gateway and Lambda, established a centralized data repository. This enables an "ask once" policy, putting citizens at the center by making information available across government, reducing redundant inspections, and simplifying bureaucracy for business owners.
