Case Study: TU Delft achieves instant, campus-wide communication to students and staff with Netpresenter

A Netpresenter Case Study

Preview of the TU Delft Case Study

One system to inform both students and staf

TU Delft, the oldest and largest technical university in the Netherlands with over 16,000 students and roughly 5,000 employees, needed a single system to quickly inform both students and staff across PC and TV screens. In 2006 TU Delft selected Netpresenter software to centralize news distribution and replace paper-based newsletters and fragmented intranet updates.

Netpresenter was deployed on dozens of large TV screens and PC screensavers with more than 100 tailored content channels so departments can target different audiences; intranet news is automatically broadcast and the platform acts as a “signpost” to full articles. The Netpresenter solution noticeably improved visibility and internal communication—reaching the university community of over 16,000 students and ~5,000 staff—simplified content management, generated strong user enthusiasm, and is now being integrated into TU Delft’s emergency communication plans.
