A Netpresenter Case Study

Netpresenter has an immediate feel good effect on the Brooklyn Hospital Center

The Brooklyn Hospital Center, a 2,900-employee teaching hospital serving 1.2 million people in Brooklyn, wanted to boost staff morale, cohesion, and continuous internal communication. In 2009 the hospital implemented Netpresenter software to deliver timely, targeted messages to employees across the organization.

Netpresenter was deployed on 1,000 staff PCs and dozens of large TV screens with eight tailored channels, tying together newsletters, intranet content and on-site displays. The vendor’s solution produced an immediate morale boost, drove traffic to the intranet, generated regular staff submissions (about 4–5 story requests per week), and—according to hospital staff—delivered the best ROI of all their internal communication tools.
