Intranet more popular than ever thanks to Netpresenter

Rotterdam World Gateway (RWG), a 24/7 automated container terminal handling 2.35 million containers a year with 250 employees, needed a way to get intranet news and operational information to both office and non-desk workers. To solve this communication gap RWG deployed Netpresenter, using its screensaver and large-screen display solution to stream a condensed version of the intranet and reach remote operators, truck drivers and office staff alike.

Netpresenter implemented an automated solution that pushes clickable intranet headlines as a screensaver on desktops and displays live, condensed intranet content (including KPIs and weather feeds from RWG’s systems) on large LED screens around the site. The result: intranet traffic and message readership increased considerably (this was measured), employees are better informed and more motivated, and RWG can quickly update and adapt communications across the workforce using Netpresenter.
