RijnmondVeilig.nl is a regional communications platform for the Rotterdam‑Rijnmond area (1.2 million residents) designed to ensure that citizens are instantly warned and informed in emergencies. To meet this national‑security‑level challenge, the municipality partnered with Netpresenter to deploy a multi‑channel alerting service based on the same technology used for the Dutch AMBER Alert.

Netpresenter implemented one‑button “Rijnmond Alerts” that broadcast across TV and radio, SMS and mobile web, e‑mail, PC pop‑ups, digital signage and social media, while also enabling the police to issue urgent notices and the public to submit tips and photos. The solution gives emergency services immediate reach across the entire 1.2 million‑person region, improving the speed, coverage and two‑way flow of critical information—clear, measurable impact delivered by Netpresenter.
