Getting vital emergency information across to 7,000 people. On ANY screen

The University of Tennessee Medical Center needed a reliable way to get vital emergency information and routine communications to more than 7,000 team members spread across its 581‑bed facility. To prevent crises and ensure everyone stayed up to date on procedures and news, The University of Tennessee Medical Center deployed Netpresenter software, using interactive screensavers on thousands of PCs and 54 large TV monitors to make alerts and messages impossible to miss.

Netpresenter implemented a multi‑channel system — interactive screensavers on ~6,000 PCs, 54 TV screens, and Netpresenter’s News & Alert App (with AES‑256 encryption) — that lets administrators “click publish” to instantly take over screens and push pop‑up notifications to mobile devices. The result: faster, organization‑wide emergency instruction during events like tornadoes, higher safety awareness and compliance, improved internal communications and staff motivation, and measurably better informed, engaged, productive and safe employees.
