SolarBuddy, a charity dedicated to combating energy poverty with renewable energy solutions, faced the challenge of measuring its own carbon footprint across its operations in multiple countries. To support its mission and align with its values, SolarBuddy needed a way to analyze emissions with location-specific data. They partnered with the vendor NetNada for its carbon accounting capabilities.

NetNada provided a solution that included a multi-country emissions analysis using location-specific emission factors. This enabled SolarBuddy to measure its Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions accurately. As a result, SolarBuddy achieved Carbon Committed certification, aligning its charity operations with UN Sustainable Development Goals and demonstrating environmental leadership in the sector.
