How Apollo GraphQL Scales Quality Across Sites with Netlify

Apollo GraphQL needed a better way to keep its developer documentation reliable, interactive, and easy to update at scale, while also making it simple for a large open source community to contribute. With a small Developer Experience team supporting many web properties, Apollo turned to Netlify to improve its docs workflow and overall site infrastructure.

Using Netlify Deploy Previews, Functions, Forms, and redirects, Apollo rebuilt its documentation experience, hosted docs alongside code, and routed users to the right repos without leaving the Apollo domain. Netlify helped Apollo expand from one experimental migration into more than 50 web properties, support 75–100 docs changes per month, and let a single engineer manage around 15 sites while maintaining speed, reliability, and quality.
