Danone‘s Alpro Builds Internationalized, Multilingual Content at Scale with MACH

Alpro, the Belgian-based subsidiary of Danone and global leader in plant-based foods, needed to support marketing websites across more than 40 markets and 30+ languages while keeping brand messaging consistent. Their monolithic web setup made it difficult to create and manage localized pages at scale, especially while trying to improve editor usability and launch a mobile-friendly rebrand quickly.

To solve this, Alpro worked with Netlify, alongside Contentful, Gatsby, and Lilt, to move to a MACH architecture with fast builds, deploy previews, and serverless integrations. Netlify helped power a more efficient content workflow and quicker review process, while localization became far easier for internal teams; the result was a 22% year-over-year increase in site visits, improved mobile conversion rates, and the ability to reach 4 million visitors annually.
