ArcelorMittal Brasil, part of a global steel and mining group, faced significant challenges in its legal operations, including a lack of organized contract templates, decentralized communication, and a loss of productivity due to an unfriendly system. These issues hindered the Legal team's ability to act as an effective business partner for internal clients. To address this, the company turned to the netLex platform for legal consultation and contract management.

By implementing netLex, ArcelorMittal customized its templates and centralized all communication onto a single, user-friendly platform. This solution substantially improved the quantity and quality of legal requests and responses, eliminated rework, and provided full visibility into the status of each matter. The gains in efficiency were so significant that ArcelorMittal's project with netLex won the “Americas - Strategic Achievement” award from World Commerce and Contracting in 2023. The success also led to an expansion of the netLex solution into other areas like corporate governance and powers of attorney.
