RDC Transforms its Business Model through Identity and Access Governance

RDC, a leading Dutch IT and business‑services provider for the mobility industry, needed to give thousands of dealers, importers, insurers and rental companies easy but secure access to dozens of web services from multiple providers. Multiple logins and shared accounts made administration difficult and exposed confidential data, so RDC required a sophisticated identity and access management solution to centralize access and improve control.

Working with NSNL, RDC implemented NetIQ Access Manager, Identity Manager, role‑based provisioning and Sentinel log management plus a dynamic web‑application launcher and a Mobi ID for single sign‑on. The new model enforces individual identities, synchronizes authorizations with back‑end systems, and adds security monitoring—reducing administration, strengthening access control, and providing a scalable platform expected to cover most of the industry and hundreds of thousands of users while enabling service providers to focus on better, personalized services.
