Pasco Risk is a specialised global risk consultancy that created TravelSafe, a secure client portal to deliver timely security alerts and country-specific advisories to blue‑chip corporate clients operating in frontier markets. The challenge was to provide highly secure, highly available, low‑cost and easy‑to‑maintain content delivery so clients’ in‑house security teams could access relevant, up‑to‑date information and manage user access themselves.

Pasco Risk implemented a Drupal portal on SUSE Linux with NetCB and NetIQ technologies — Identity Manager, Access Manager and Teaming + Conferencing — enabling centralized user management, secure LDAP authentication, client self‑service (including renewal workflows), collaborative content submission and RSS enrichment. The solution created a new revenue stream, reduced operating and administrative costs (eliminating much email/phone traffic), delivered up‑to‑the‑minute intelligence to clients and is generating strong user uptake and projected growth.
