Databarracks, a London-based provider of highly resilient, secure data center services, needed to deliver faster, more reliable disaster recovery at lower cost. Customers previously faced RPOs of 8–24 hours and RTOs up to 24 hours, and Databarracks had to charge for tests—making mission‑critical recovery times and frequent testing unaffordable.
Databarracks consolidated and automated its DR stack with PlateSpin Protect, replacing multiple tools with a single platform for Linux and Windows workloads. The change cut operational overhead, enabled on‑demand resource allocation, and delivered RPOs and RTOs of under an hour (often much less), plus free self‑service DR testing—improving service levels while reducing costs and strengthening its market position.
