bluesource is a global information management company that supports some of the world’s most complex messaging environments for more than 400 clients. Facing growing demand for a managed service that could assume daily responsibility for messaging systems, bluesource needed a way to easily and regularly examine application performance across diverse, distributed infrastructures.

Working with NetIQ, bluesource deployed AppManager across customer data centers and public/private clouds, using Module Builder to create custom monitoring for Symantec Enterprise Vault and integrating AppManager data with CRM and help-desk tools. The solution delivered full visibility, automated diagnostics, tailored reporting via Analysis Center and SQL Reporting Services, and trend-based capacity forecasting—enabling a more competitive managed service, a consolidated Service Management Center, and immediate customer benefits such as improved uptime and remote 24/7 support for clients like WWF-UK.
