Universal Genetics (Advanced Genetics) is a U.S. immigration DNA testing company with three accredited labs across California, New York and Florida and a 40-person team. As email-driven work expanded across multiple locations, the company needed a way to track team activity, store communication and case data, and replace an expensive/limited Gmail CRM — so they implemented NetHunt CRM with deep Gmail integration.
Using NetHunt, Universal Genetics built automated workflows (via Zapier) such as @username comment notifications, checkbox-triggered emails and SMS, and multiline fields to parse and populate complex case data, plus card-view reports to monitor case stages and manager email volumes. NetHunt enabled centralized contact and communication history, quick identification of missed client emails, and measurable operational adoption (8 NetHunt users; customer since February 2017), reducing manual copy‑paste and improving visibility into productivity.
