Temi, an Israeli robotics company, partnered with NetGuru to build a premium but affordable home assistant robot from scratch. Their challenge was to replace the Android operating system and create the software “heart and brain” of a personal assistant robot that could handle real-time voice, video, and cloud processing across globally distributed teams.

NetGuru developed the robot’s Android-based operating system, plus iOS and Android companion apps, and helped build an open Android SDK for third-party developers. Working in agile sprints with Jira, Slack, and Bitrise, NetGuru supported rapid iteration and cross-team collaboration, helping Temi launch a well-received product that gathered strong feedback from testers, industry experts, media, and events in the US and Europe.
