Salzburg AG launches peer-to-peer energy trading with NetGuru

Salzburg AG, an Austrian greentech company, faced the challenge of how to handle excess renewable energy without relying on environmentally costly battery storage. They partnered with NetGuru to develop a platform that would enable community energy sharing, allowing prosumers to sell their surplus green energy directly to consumers.

NetGuru approached the project with comprehensive branding workshops, field research, and UX/UI design to create a visually minimal and intuitive platform. The solution included an energy market for trading, advanced usage reports, and seamless cross-platform compatibility. NetGuru delivered a final product that successfully allows users to participate in the peer-to-peer energy market and raises awareness about renewable energy consumption.
