Orbem reaches TRL 6 in 6 months with NetGuru

Orbem is a deep tech startup that develops AI-powered sensor technology to transform food systems. They faced the challenge of building a reliable hybrid infrastructure to integrate their cloud-based software with on-premises imaging devices for their product, the Genus. To achieve this, they partnered with Netguru.

Netguru implemented a solution using Terraform, a lightweight Kubernetes approach, and tools like Helm and Ansible. This created a plug-and-play on-prem system focused on scalability. The collaboration also modernized Orbem's development processes by migrating to Gitlab CI and incorporating SonarCloud. As a result, Netguru helped Orbem advance their product from Technology Readiness Level 2 to Level 6 in just six months, making it customer-ready and laying the groundwork for future innovations.
