The customer, Merck KGaA, faced a challenge in laboratory inventory management, as most labs relied on inefficient manual workflows. To improve scientist productivity and ensure regulatory compliance with their LANEXO® Inventory Manager solution, they partnered with vendor NetGuru. The initial product was only available on Android, which limited its growth potential and audience.

NetGuru implemented a cross-platform solution using Flutter to revamp the Android app and deliver a new iOS application. This allowed for a seamless user experience across both platforms and faster validation of market assumptions.
