Grupa Warszawa delivers 40k+ meals with NetGuru

Grupa Warszawa, a food service and event management business, launched the Posiłek dla Seniora initiative to provide meals and combat loneliness for the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their challenge was building a trustworthy, secure, and engaging fundraising platform from scratch to process donations and support this vital cause. They partnered with NetGuru to design and develop this solution.

NetGuru built a comprehensive platform using React for the web app and React Native for the mobile app, with a Node.js backend. The solution integrated secure payment processing and push notifications to facilitate donations. As a result, the initiative raised over 1,000,000 in donations from more than 15,000 donors, funding over 40,000 meals and eventually evolving into a broader foundation. NetGuru's work was crucial in accelerating the fundraising process and delivering significant social good.
