Campsited.com is a Dublin-based startup that helps campers and holiday seekers find and book campsites, tours, and holiday parks. Facing a scarcity of local tech talent, a lack of a scalable team, and pressure to control development costs, Campsited turned to NetGuru for Ruby on Rails consulting and product development support, including work on a booking engine tailored for holiday parks.

NetGuru built a remote, scalable team, redesigned the app’s layout, and created a highly customizable platform, helping Campsited relaunch in just 5 months. The new version improved the product’s look and feel, supported fundraising efforts, and enabled growth into new markets such as the Netherlands; the team also scaled up to 10 people at peak.
