It’s a Hole-in-One for WiFi at Blacknest Golf & Country Club
Blacknest Golf & Country Club, a leisure facility in Hampshire, UK, faced significant WiFi challenges across its 100-acre site. The spread-out location and high number of simultaneous users, from processing payments to guests streaming on social media, were too much for its outdated network. The club engaged NETGEAR partner Smallworld IT to design a new solution.
Smallworld IT implemented a WiFi 6 network using 15 NETGEAR WAX620 and 4 WAX610Y outdoor access points, managed by nine NETGEAR switches. The system, deployed in Spring 2022, is maintained remotely via the NETGEAR Insight portal, providing excellent coverage to the farthest edges of the property and enhanced security for approximately 140 daily users, eliminating the customer's worry about their wireless infrastructure.
