Ice Miller, an Am Law 200 firm serving clients across 20+ practice areas, was saddled with a decade-old, on‑prem OpenText eDOCS system that was slow, fragmented across libraries, and hard to search. To meet its cloud-first strategy and consolidate email and documents into a single, searchable platform, Ice Miller selected NetDocuments (including ndMail and other cloud DMS capabilities) to replace its legacy DMS for roughly 750 users.

NetDocuments was deployed with implementation partner Kraft Kennedy and training partner Encoretech, migrating some 23 million documents and emails with no data loss and converting the firm to a stable, cloud-native environment. The rollout hit 90% user adoption within three days, produced six months with no DMS outage notices, dramatically improved searchability and security visibility, and enabled seamless remote use — tangible evidence of NetDocuments’ impact.
