PMKVY Creates Awareness Among 440 Million Young Indians

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), the Government of India’s flagship skill development program, needed to create awareness among rural youth across the country and capture the intent and profile of potential candidates. With limited access to traditional media and technology in many target areas, PMKVY turned to Netcore Smartech’s mobile marketing solution to reach and engage its audience.

Netcore Smartech designed a massive outreach campaign using SMS and missed-call engagement, supported by IVR profiling in 11 languages to collect details such as location, gender, age group, and employment status. The campaign reached over 440 million potential users, generated 7.5 million missed calls, and profiled 2.7 million candidates, with responses from 18,802 pin codes and coverage across 5,205 sub-districts, helping direct candidates to the nearest training centers.
