International Insurance Company, a global insurance provider with more than 65,000 employees in 90 countries, needed to migrate its workforce from Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 to Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010. The company also wanted to improve security, compliance, and productivity while training 64,000 employees on the new tools and their advanced document, spreadsheet, presentation, and Excel features. NetCom Learning was brought in to address this large-scale learning challenge.

NetCom Learning delivered a blended learning solution that combined online training videos hosted on a secure internal repository, quick reference guides, and a two-hour live classroom session streamed globally. This approach enabled employees to learn at their own pace, access content anytime and anywhere, and reduce travel and downtime, while keeping data secure through the company’s online university and internal server. The program successfully supported the global rollout and was impactful enough that International Insurance Company continued working with NetCom Learning on the next phase of training for project managers worldwide.
