St. James Place, a senior care community in Louisiana with 300+ employees, was overwhelmed by in-house HR and payroll processing: recruiters spent too much time on paperwork, the systems lacked alerts for missed punches and upcoming reviews, and finance had to process paper and garnishment checks manually. In 2014 they switched to Netchex and adopted services including Time & Attendance, Employee Self-Service, Manager Self-Service, NetCOBRA, NetGuide and Paycard.
Netchex delivered an integrated HCM platform that automated payroll, time tracking and benefits administration—adding PayCards to eliminate paper checks, Netchex Time & Attendance for real-time timesheets and scheduling, and self-service tools to reduce administrative workload. As a result St. James Place reclaimed staff time for core responsibilities, eliminated manual benefits reconciliation and check processing, gained better visibility into labor costs and schedules, and reduced the risk of human error.
