Yum! Brands Chooses NetBase to Scale Social Intelligence to More than 100 Users Globally

Yum! Brands, owner of globally recognized restaurant brands, needed a way to protect reputation and respond quickly when issues first emerge in social media. Recognizing that conversations on social channels often surface problems before traditional media, the company built a business case around the "Cost of Ignoring" and sought a global social intelligence capability that could detect and manage risk across markets.

Yum! selected NetBase for its flexible, easy-to-use platform and—building on Taco Bell’s successful pilot—launched the Social Hive command center in June 2013. Through a phased rollout of purpose-built NetBase dashboards and a global scorecard, the program trained teams across PR, marketing, operations and HR, enabling faster issue detection, unified reporting and the ability to scale to 100+ users worldwide.
