Worldwide Food Manufacturing Company Improves SAS Analytics with NetApp E-Series SAN Storage Systems

A large U.S.-based multinational food manufacturer running SAS business analytics needed near–real-time reporting to support fast decisions about demand, pricing, volumes, shipments, and logistics. The IT team had to analyze very large data volumes across many variables and provide a high-performance work area for 24 SAS computing cores, with storage throughput of at least 2.4 GB/s to avoid stale data and slow reports.
