Telkomsigma collaborates with NetApp to take Indonesian businesses to the cloud

Telkomsigma, a Telkom Indonesia subsidiary and leading provider of integrated IT and cloud services in Indonesia, faced rapidly growing customer demand for flexible, secure, and highly available cloud solutions across both private and public sectors. The company needed to scale infrastructure to meet diverse SLAs, improve disaster recovery, and reduce total cost of ownership while serving banks, government, and enterprises.

Telkomsigma implemented NetApp FAS3210/FAS3240 FlexPod solutions with SnapMirror, SnapManager, deduplication, thin provisioning and FlexClone across three data centers to simplify management, accelerate provisioning and automate backup/recovery. The deployment cut storage capacity requirements to about 40% (cloning capacity by up to 90%), delivered over 30,000 IOPS for demanding applications, improved recovery times, enabled DR-as-a-Service, and helped triple annual revenue while lowering TCO.
