Signiant is a file-transfer provider that moves petabytes of data daily for media, life sciences, finance and other enterprises, running core services primarily on AWS. As Signiant’s cloud footprint grew from two to nine AWS accounts, the DevOps team struggled to track costs, forecast demand, automate Reserved Instance (RI) purchases and monitor security changes across multiple accounts, while providing finance with timely cost visibility.
