Samaritan’s Purse is an international nonprofit that provides disaster and humanitarian relief in more than 100 countries. Rapid growth from multiple responses strained its storage and slowed applications—SQL workloads dragged into nighttime, backups conflicted with operations, and the organization needed always-on access to coordinate volunteers, donors, and time-sensitive relief efforts.
