Oulun DataCenter, a Finland-based NetApp Gold partner with a ten-person team, provides energy-efficient datacenter services and a full range of hosting, consultancy and managed outsourcing. Facing aging equipment and a growing, diverse customer base, the company needed to simplify and standardize operations on a future-ready platform that could support NAS and Tier 1 SAN workloads, scale up/out, and offer multi-protocol connectivity.

Oulun DataCenter deployed NetApp A300 all-flash systems and expanded its FAS8020/FAS2554 storage under the NetApp Data Fabric, using OnCommand, Active IQ, SnapMirror/SnapVault and integrations with Commvault and Veeam. The unified, multi-tenant platform delivered low-latency performance, cost-efficient capacity tiers, non‑disruptive operations and significant space savings (dedupe ratios up to 20:1), enabling easier scaling, flexible data placement and simplified operations to meet varied customer needs.
