Okada Manila is a 44‑hectare casino resort in the Philippines—home to 993 hotel rooms, thousands of gaming machines and over 20,000 daily visitors—that aimed to deliver personalized, data‑driven guest experiences across many customer touchpoints. The challenge was ensuring timely, reliable access to mission‑critical data and uninterrupted availability of numerous business applications to support booking, check‑in/out, promotions and immersive entertainment systems.

Working with WordText Systems, Okada Manila deployed NetApp hybrid‑flash solutions (FAS8040HA, FAS8020HA, FAS2552HA with clustered ONTAP and MetroCluster) to provide synchronous replication, non‑disruptive scaling and high availability. The rollout keeps 40+ business apps running with zero data loss, stores 60TB of media for nightly shows, supports about 1,200 VDI sessions daily, and enables real‑time personalization, greater operational agility, and cloud readiness.
