Meridian Imaging Solutions, an employee‑owned IT services firm, was outgrowing its software SAN for SMBs as it virtualized nearly all servers with VMware vSphere. Degrading performance and an unplanned SAN crash threatened business continuity and the company’s goal of becoming a cloud services provider, so Meridian needed enterprise‑class, highly available storage.

Working with NetApp partner ePlus, Meridian deployed a NetApp FAS3220 in HA mode with Flash Cache, deduplication and Virtual Storage Console (iSCSI integration with vCenter). The solution eliminated storage downtime, improved CRM/ERP responsiveness, simplified management, and scaled to support rapid growth and the launch of Prime Meridian Secure Private Cloud and new IaaS/managed‑backup services.
