Leaders, one of the UK’s largest independent residential property groups with over 140 branches and 1,300 employees, faced severe VDI performance problems across 900 virtual desktops—morning logins and shutdowns could take 10–15 minutes—because rapid growth had outstripped its legacy storage infrastructure.

Working with partner Vohkus, Leaders replaced two storage platforms with a single NetApp AFF8060 all‑flash system on a 10Gb Ethernet backbone. The upgrade cut desktop boot times to about 30 seconds, consolidated storage for 50 virtual servers, reduced power/space and operational costs, enabled daytime updates, improved application/reporting performance, and provided a reliable, scalable foundation for future growth.
