A multinational insurance and financial services company needed to scale its Citrix-based virtual desktop infrastructure to support up to 2,700 developers while maintaining high I/O performance during boot storms and code compilations, meeting strict disaster‑recovery requirements, and enabling nondisruptive scaling and DR testing.

The company deployed NetApp All‑Flash FAS8080 arrays across two data centers with clustered Data ONTAP, SnapMirror replication, and deduplication.
