IQ PL Hosts Over 100,000 Mailboxes on NetApp and Achieves 85% Service Subscription Renewals

IQ PL, a long-established Polish cloud and web hosting provider, needed a highly reliable, flexible mail-hosting platform to grow its e-mail business and deliver standout service quality. Rather than using dedicated servers, the company sought a solution that would support many customers efficiently while enabling easy recovery and management of mail data.

IQ PL deployed NetApp FAS storage with native NFS, Snapshot backups, OnCommand management and AutoSupport alongside a Linux server cluster, enabling self-service restores and efficient operations. The result: more than 100,000 mailboxes and ~15,000 customers served, 20% lower storage consumption, new services like e-mail archiving, a stable hosting environment and an 85% annual subscription renewal rate.
