Increased Efficiency Improves Customer Service for Ukraine Retailer

Tavria V, a fast-growing multiformat retailer in Ukraine with more than 80 stores and a popular online shop, needed to support rapid expansion while keeping customer service fast and affordable. Its operations rely on dozens of business‑critical systems (POS, ERP, CRM, BI, virtualization, etc.), and storage performance or downtime directly threatened revenue, customer loyalty, and reputation—so the IT team set out to build a private cloud with highly available, high‑performance storage.

Working with partner Inforada, Tavria V deployed NetApp SolidFire all‑flash storage and migrated workloads from their FAS6240. The move delivered guaranteed per‑application QoS, real‑time resource allocation, simplified scale‑out growth, and more than 8x data reduction from inline deduplication and compression (leaving ~40% spare capacity), resulting in much better application performance, lower storage costs, and a more agile, resilient infrastructure with plans for a second data center and DR replication.
