HomeAdvisor, which expanded significantly after merging with Angie’s List, needed to deliver fast, hyper-local service matches across tens of thousands of U.S. zip codes while managing a complex hybrid multicloud environment. The company faced challenges around data consistency, performance, and scalability for its large Oracle database, CRM systems, and dozens of internal teams (including some 250 developers) that require reliable, real-time access to accurate data.

HomeAdvisor implemented a NetApp data fabric using AFF, FAS, SolidFire, NetApp HCI and Cloud Volumes ONTAP, plus SnapMirror for replication, to modernize storage and simplify backups. The result was zero downtime on AFF systems, significantly improved Oracle performance, easier cloud integration and automation, faster developer workflows, and greater operational efficiency that helped lower TCO and support continued growth.
