Children’s Hospital Central California, a 348‑bed nonprofit and the region’s only dedicated pediatric hospital, needed to replace an aging storage environment to support mission‑critical systems such as Merge PACS and MEDITECH EMR, meet strict uptime and HIPAA requirements, and handle rapidly growing data (about 25% annually). Working with CDW and NetApp, the hospital consolidated onto NetApp FAS6210HA clusters (with a FAS3240 archival system), migrating 135 TB and dozens of systems.
