BulutBroker, a cloud service brand of Turkish integrator Bulutistan, was asked by broadcaster Dogus Media to archive petabytes of rich-media content. The company needed a hybrid-cloud solution that balanced customer and provider needs—seamless integration with diverse storage systems, on-demand scalability, secure connectivity between Istanbul and Izmir data centers and public clouds, and regulatory compliance for data residency.

Teaming with NetApp, BulutBroker deployed AltaVault, StorageGRID Webscale and NetApp E-Series to deliver a three-tiered archiving service (hot/warm/cold) with inline deduplication, compression, encryption, local caching, and pay-per-terabyte billing. The solution rolled out quickly, met compliance requirements, reduced costs and legacy complexity, and unlocked new customer capabilities (including a mobile component) that let field staff enrich broadcasts directly from the cloud.
