Case Study: 3DS OUTSCALE achieves global, sovereign, enterprise-grade cloud services with NetApp

A NetApp Case Study

Preview of the 3DS OUTSCALE Case Study

Building a Cloud for the Global Enterprise

3DS OUTSCALE, the cloud subsidiary of Dassault Systèmes, is an enterprise-class public cloud provider with 19 global data centers and more than 800 customers. It needed to deliver localized, compliant, high-performance cloud services for regulated industries and meet strict data‑sovereignty and jurisdictional requirements that the largest public clouds struggle to address.

To meet that challenge it deployed its TINA OS orchestrator on NetApp and Cisco FlexPod infrastructure—using NetApp AFF, FAS, and FSS—to deliver on‑premise, application‑centric cloud services. The result is a scalable, high‑performance multitenant platform that supports global, locally compliant deployments, provides low‑cost high‑performance storage, and has maintained strong data protection (no customer data loss in nearly a decade).
