As the business grew, its billing process—reliant on massive per-second AWS CSVs and manual Excel work—became slow, error-prone, and unscalable, with invoices frequently late and customers unable to get clear explanations of charges.
After adopting CloudCheckr (now part of Spot by NetApp), Cloud Comrade automated invoicing, generated tailored billing reports, and correctly allocated AWS credits to the master account. The change resolved roughly 95% of billing errors, allowed one billing employee to handle hundreds of invoices for hundreds of clients, boosted profit margins, and restored customer trust, with plans to use further cost-management features.
