Beekenkamp Group, a family-owned greenhouse company founded in 1951 in the Netherlands with 2,200 employees and more than 1.7 billion young plants produced annually, needed to replace its datacenter. Facing a disparate storage environment that risked data loss, the company sought a centralized, scalable storage solution with secure backup to a secondary site to improve utilization and ensure always-on availability.

Working with partner Cegeka, Beekenkamp implemented NetApp FAS2552 and FAS2554 systems with NetApp software to consolidate storage and backup, enable deduplication, and virtualize key applications. The deployment delivered higher storage utilization and uptime, fast global access to unified data, secure offsite backups, reduced power and space needs, and a scalable, non-disruptive platform to support future growth.
