A small college in South Florida that outsources IT to Veytec needed to migrate about 10 TB of on‑premises data to a managed cloud while protecting highly sensitive student and faculty PII. During prep work, Veytec discovered permission mismatches and could not manually audit or classify all files efficiently, so the school needed an automated way to identify sensitive, stale, and duplicate data and ensure correct permissions during migration.
