Tufenkian Carpets Weaves a Superior Warehouse Solution with ACCPAC

Tufenkian Carpets, a high-end carpet maker and distributor, was struggling with paper-based accounting and warehouse processes that caused inventory inaccuracies, duplicate sales risk, slow order tracking, and customer service issues across its New York and New Jersey operations. The company needed a more flexible system to support growth, especially as consignment business and warehouse volume increased.

Net at Work implemented ACCPAC Pro Series and ACCPAC Warehouse Management System (WMS), linking the offices and warehouse with real-time inventory tracking, barcodes, wireless RF terminals, and customized inventory attributes. As a result, Tufenkian doubled warehouse productivity, cut order-to-shipment time from two to three days to about one day, reduced “XX rugs” from 150 to 7, eliminated a full-time data integrity role, and lowered overtime and staffing needs.
