This U.S. manufacturer of specialized equipment — supporting 250,000 clients with roughly 10,000 employees across 100+ countries — faced degraded end-user experience and business continuity risks when the pandemic drove thousands to work from home. Rapid VPN expansion, an upcoming AWS migration, and blind spots across client, network, data center, and cloud service edges left IT Operations with siloed NetFlow/MIB2 data and limited visibility into VPN and firewall performance.

Working with NETSCOUT Premium Services, the company deployed an nGeniusONE-based solution with InfiniStreamNG, vSTREAM virtual appliances, Virtual Flow Collectors, and nGeniusPULSE sensors, plus regional Remote ISNGs and migrated select nGeniusONE servers to AWS. The design delivered end-to-end visibility and real-time analytics for latency, QoS, VPN capacity, and cloud utilization, enabling nearly 20 AWS VPN/firewall access points to be monitored effectively.
