A publicly traded global gaming company that serves millions of online players across multiple data centers faced a rapid traffic surge during the pandemic and needed complete visibility into tens of millions of packets per second. Existing monitoring solutions could not generate the NetFlow metrics required for multiple security and in‑house performance tools, and the team needed a scalable packet broker that could support many simultaneous staff users and future growth across data centers.

NETSCOUT deployed nGenius Packet Flow eXtender (PFX) software and nGenius packet flow switch (PFS) appliances with premium support, tapping and spanning multi‑terabit flows into a separate monitoring network.
